Nepali Wooden Pot-Limbu
Shaped by hand from solid wood, this water pot originates from the Naga tribe of India, where it was used to carry water through the hills. Each curve and groove tells of the hands that made it — skilled artisans working in an unbroken tradition of craft. The surface is wrapped in intricate geometric carvings, a language of pattern passed down through generations, and the wood has taken on a beautifully bleached, naturally aged patina, pale and weathered in the way only time can achieve. A genuine antique, and a rare one.
